About The Cake House

The Cake House is run from home by Tami Wornham who lives in the village of Barkway in Hertfordshire with the assistance of her sister in-law Caroline Scott. Being based in Barkway 'The Cake House' is ideally situated to supply cakes for all the surrounding towns and villages such as Royston, Buntingford, Ware, Hertford, Cambridge, Saffron Walden and Bishops Stortford. 

Tami has been making and decorating cakes for 10 years since passing an ABC cake
decorating course at Bedford College.
She has also passed a course on decorating wedding cakes and was awarded a 
silver medal at the Salon Culinaire Competition at the NEC Birmingham. 
Tami is a member of the British Sugar Craft Guild and is registered with North Herts
Environmental Health.
Tami also has a food hygiene certificate and public/products liability insurance.






Caroline started baking cakes from a young age, helping her mother with her own cake making business. She continued her love of cooking by attending 'Leiths School of Food and Wine'
where she was trained in all aspects of cooking.
